​DeKesha Tookes has served as our lead Vacation Bible School instructor with excellence and passion, playing a pivotal role in executing the curriculum for both VBS 2024 and 2025.

 

She has devoted approximately 20 hours each month to preparing for VBS, ensuring that every lesson, activity, and detail reflects her love for God and His children.

 

DeKesha's commitment began even before the dust settled from VBS 2024—jumping right in to help plan and build the framework for 2025. Her forward-thinking spirit has been essential in creating a transformative experience for all involved.

 

Drawing from a rich history of service with the late Mother Carolyn Davis and the GCC Kings Kids, DeKesha brings wisdom, creativity, and a nurturing touch that has left a lasting impact. The dedication shared is both a gift and a guiding light for our entire VBS team.
